Constance Bay – Ottawa

Hey there!

I’m Mackenzie Grace and I have always loved exploring and getting to see different parts of the world. Ever since I was a child I have always loved reading about other people’s stories and experiences, whether that be through books or magazines. Recently I’ve been intrigued by beginning to do some of my own chronicling and  thus this blog was born.

Before I was ten months old I had been to the Bahamas, Antigua, and Seattle so an insatiable sense of wanderlust has always been in my blood. I was bitten by the travel bug when I was very young as I was fortunate enough to have parents who felt that travel was very important, whether that meant a quick weekend drive up to Ottawa or a longer trip out of the country. I think travel and exploration are key in not only creating a more global community but to finding one’s place in society.

I am doing a double major in History and Art History with a minor in Theater. Which means that my favorite thing to do while traveling is exploring the history of wherever I am.

I don’t think there is any problem that can’t be solved with a cup of tea or a glass of wine. I loved baking, cooking, hiking, sailing, photography, theater and art. I have always had a type-A personality and a need to have every element of my life planned out way in advance, however for the first time in my life I have no clue what I’m doing. And I’m kind of loving it.

Anyway, I hope you decide to stay and join me as I attempt to figure out what comes next and all the adventures along the way.

If happiness is the goal – and it should be, then adventures should be a priority
