34 days, 13 cities, 9 countries. Upon discovering we had over a month of spring break an ambitious goal was set, especially with a student budget. Countless notebooks, Google Docs, and late night planning sessions later we had our itinerary. With various building blocks of different people swapping in and out of different parts of the trip my final plan looked like: Normandy, Paris, Nice, Monaco, Rome, Pompeii, Sorrento, Vienna, Krakow, Prague, Cologne, Amsterdam, and Copenhagen. It was an amazing adventure and one that I will never forget. There were tears and blood shed, lots of carbs and sugar eaten, and tons of amazing memories.
I learned so much on this trip with the three most important things being that 1. Sleep literally whenever you can, you don’t know when your next good sleep will be, 2. Chocolate can and will constitute an entire meal sometimes, 3. And that there is a point in life and in travel where you can and will cry anywhere.
Although I will definitely be doing more in depth posts for each city with my photos I also ended up with a bunch of video footage that I edited together into a Spring Break video.
